Arete’s OEM model (AR-i9000+) Rail-in-motion Indicator is a state of the art, scalable, intelligent, accurate and high-speed real-time system that interfaces to weigh rails to extract axle weight, axle speed & axle spacing information of individual axles of the cargo trains used by Indian Railways
Indicator is optimized to interface to load cells that are bonded on rails (commonly referred to as weigh rails).
Indicator meets all the requirements as specified in the RDSO standard - WD-29-MISC-14
Indicator works with additional hardware designed by Arete Automation Systems to automatically eliminate locomotives. Our indicator is also capable of eliminating locomotives used in long haul applications and suppress wagon/axle weights in the event of rollback
The indicator is designed to seamlessly plug-in to the next higher level application software
Indicator features a novel calibration methodology which ensures system accuracy and meets RDSO requirements of +/- 0.25% for the entire rake
