  • Arete’s OEM model (AR-i9000+) Rail-in-motion Indicator is a state of the art, scalable, intelligent, accurate and high-speed real-time system that interfaces to weigh rails to extract axle weight, axle speed & axle spacing information of individual axles of the cargo trains used by Indian Railways
  • Indicator is optimized to interface to load cells that are bonded on rails (commonly referred to as weigh rails).
  • Indicator meets all the requirements as specified in the RDSO standard - WD-29-MISC-14
  • Indicator works with additional hardware designed by Arete Automation Systems to automatically eliminate locomotives. Our indicator is also capable of eliminating locomotives used in long haul applications and suppress wagon/axle weights in the event of rollback
  • The indicator is designed to seamlessly plug-in to the next higher level application software
  • Indicator features a novel calibration methodology which ensures system accuracy and meets RDSO requirements of +/- 0.25% for the entire rake

  • Integrated 400MHz Freescale Industrial -real-time controller with Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, 128 MB DRAM for high-speed and inline signal processing.
  • Wind River VxWorks real-time operating system (RTOS) for extreme reliability and determinism.
